If people, who work together, talk about work when they are not at work.
To talk about business or work matters at a social event (where such talk is out of place).

If you take care of somebody or something.

A training for employees is not at an education center, it is at the company itself (in house).

If you talk to a person who is not listening to you.

If you work with people from much different cultures.

I hear something from the person who is responsible.

Swamp a market - Saturate a market - flood a market.

I you heavily go in a market. 

Market niche

You've found a market niche if you are successful and only have few competitors.

Sluggish market.

A slow moving market.

Bring out a product.

If you make a product public and people can buy it.

Exorbitant costs.

If something is way too expensive.

To gauge the risk.

If you analyze pros and cons of an action and its risk you are gaugeing the risk.

Volatile market

A market which often and rapidly changes.

Put you in the picture.

If you put someone in the picture, you tell them the information they need to know about something.

Talk at cross purposes.

People are talking about different things.

Get straight to the point.

If you understand something clearly.

Get a word in edgeways.

If somebody is talking all the time, it is difficult to get a word in edgeways.

Beat about the bush.

You avoid talking about a difficult or embarrassing subject because you are worried about upsetting the person you are talking to.

Hear on the grapevine.

If you hear news from a person who heard the news from someone else.

On the same wavelength.

If you think in the same pattern as somebody else.
If you are in agreement.

Word of mouth

When people are talking about something, then it often comes to you by word of mouth.
You hear something rather by speaking than by writing.

Customer retention

If your company has a good customer retention, the customers trust you and often buy their stuff at your company.

Tied up in a meeting.

If you are tied up in a meeting, you can't leave it now and have to be there.

Customer loyalty programm.

The goal of a customer loyalty programm is to get more customer retention. The programm is often based on giving products or services to reduced prices. Sometimes there is also some point system, which motivates customer to buy more at your company.

Devise a plan.

If you sit together and discuss the common plan and the next steps.

Ruthless

If you don't care about people, the nature or other circumstances, you're doing a ruthless business.

Coveted position

Some jobs in a company are greatly desired, everyone wants this jobs. These are coveted positions.

Take a breather.

If you are in a stressful time you can take a breather to start again after that.

Make a mad dash for

If you extremelly want something and can't control this desire anymore. You must have it as quickly as possible.
We had a mad dash around town in search of a present for Dad.

Cram

Something is fully packed with a lot of stuff.

To solicit decisions

If you go to the decision maker and please him or her to decide the way you want. 

Careful forethought

If you carefully think about something that doesn't happen at the moment but will come in the (near) future.

Forthwith

Something must happen as soon as possible.

Take for granted.

Something is necessary in your view to do something.
Fairplay is taken for granted to play football.

To corner a market.

If you corner a market, you can manipulate it.
