-no logical location for a central project management function
-bei einem neuen projekt werden die aufgaben aufgeteilt und erhalten zusätzliche aufgaben ->lenkt ab von der richtigen arbeit-
Wiki:
Gliederung der Einheiten nach Aufgaben unterhalb der Unternehmensleitung ( 2. Hierarchieebene)
Vorteile:
- Spezialisierung
- Kostendegression (Skaleneffekte)
- Klare Aufgaben-, Kompetenz- und Verantwortungsbereiche
- Synergieeffekte
- Verhinderung von Redundanze
Nachteile:
- Erschwerte Zusammenarbeit zwischen den Abteilungen/Funktionsbereichen (großer Koordinationsaufwand)
- Übergewicht des Spezialistentums
- Fehlendes Verständnis für andere Funktionsbereiche/Bereichsegoismus (z. B. Konflikt zwischen Marketing und Produktion, Ressortdenken)
- Niedrige Produkt- und Marktorientierung
- Unklare Ergebnisverantwortung
- Einschränkung von Innovationspotential
- Großer Zeitbedarf bis zur Entscheidungsfindung
