Democracy?
Political system in which people directly or undirectly ( they vote for representatives) hold the power. As a result the power is based on popular will.
Social stratification?
division of society into different social groups between which wealth, privileges, prestige and power are unequally distributed
Authoritarianism?
The process of believing that poeple should obey authority and rules, even when these are unfair, and even if it means that they lose their personal freedom.
Crisis?
Time of troubles and/or time of changes and danger happening in a specific place.
Capitalism?
An economic system in which a country's businesses and industry are controlled and run for profit by private owners rather than by the government.
Growth?
A long-lasting increase of the economic activity and/or demagraphy and/or standard of living.
Colonisation?
Deliberate control and occupation of an area or country by foreign people (from a common origin).
Migration?
The movemant of a large number of people at a specific time from one place to another.
