Literatur - written works, especially those considered of superior or lasting artistic merit

Roman - a long, fictional narrative which describes intimate human experiences

Fiktion - literature in the form of prose, especially short stories and novels, that describes imaginary events and people

Text - a book or other written or printed work

Autor - a writer of a book, article, or document

Pergament - a stiff, flat, thin material made from the prepared skin of an animal and used as a durable writing surface

Papier - material manufactured in thin sheets from the pulp of wood or other fibrous substances

Bibliothek - a place where books, magazines, and other materials (such as videos and musical recordings) are available for people to use or borrow
