250 kts

Obstacle clearances:

Es muss 10 NM breit sein => Höchste elevation im Korridor bis 5000 ft ==> + 1000 ft ab 5001 ft ==> + 2000 ft

MEA ?

Minimum Enroute Altitude ==> diese Höhe garantiert: 1. navigation aids necessary to navigate 2. two-way communication with ATC 3. safe clearances from obstacles 4. conformity with any air traffic procedures

Route MORA

Alle Zahlen auf der Karten, die ein a haben ==> provide an obstacle clearance within 10 NM on both sides of the airways ==> Geben das höchste Hindernis in diesem Sektor an

Grid MORA

Vor allem für VFR => Auf Karte die höchste Elevation Abgabe => Von Karte zu Karte unterschiedlich => terrain and manmade structure clearance within the section by the latitude and longitude lines

MOCA

Minimum Obstacle Clearance Altitude => min. altitude for a defined segment that provides the required obstacle clearances => Die Höhe, dass du nirgends einschlägst, jedoch kein Funk etc. mehr garantiert z.B. engine failures etc,

MRA

Minimum Reception Altitude => not safe => lowest altitude on an airway segment at which acceptable navigational signal coverage (VOR/DME) is received to determine the intersection => Only provides reception altitude guidance for published intersections but no obstruction clearance

==> The lowest altitude above sea level at which acceptable navigatioal signal coverage is received to determine the intersection

MAA

Max. Authorized Altitude => max. usable altitude or flight level => altitude on a federal airway

MCA

Minimum crossing altitude => lowest altitude at which a navigational fix shall be crossed when entering or continuing along an airway that will allow an aircraft to clear all obstacles while carry out a normal climb to the required min. en route altitude

MHA

Min. Holding Altitude => altitude for a holding pattern which assures navigational single coverage, communications and meets obstacles clearance requirements

MDA/ MDH

Min. Descent Altitude (Height) ==> altitude or heigh in a NON-precision approach or circling approach below which descent must not be made without the require visual reference => Noch kein G/O wenn man die Piste nicht sieht

MSA

Min. Sector Altitude => lowest altitude which will provide a min. clearance above all objects located in the area contains within a sector of a circle of 46 km (25NM) centered on a RADIO AID to navigation

MSA  (Not Minimum Sector Altitude)

Minimum Safe Altitude => a generic expression to denote an altitude below which it is unsafe to fly owing to presence of terrain or obstacles

NDB => Ungerichtetes Funkfeuer

Apt. eleveation and rwy elevation werden immer angegen. Airport elevation an welchem Punkt?

LOC Approach is what?

localizer Approach => Glide slope is out of function

ALS out?

Approach lights system out of service

MSA Kreis auf den Karten, welcher Radius ?

25 NM

Clim Gradient DA 40

until 400 ft = 1/4 NM Dann ca. 800 ft/NM

1 NM sind wie viel ft

1 NM = 6076 ft

Temp.

Nr. 18: RMK/ IFPS rte chg up to fl140 is ACPT ==> Immer reinschreiben

Bei MORA z.B. 4500T, was heisst das?

4500 T ist die MOCA => Höhe ohne Hindernisse, jedoch keine VOR COM etc. not guaranteed

Given: True course (TC) 017, W/V 340/30 kt, True air speed (TAS) 420 kt Find: Wind correction angle (WCA) and ground speed (GS)

WCA -2, GS 396 kt

The navigation plan reads:

Trip fuel: .........   100 kg
Flight time: ... 1 h 35 min
Taxi fuel: ..........     3 kg
Block fuel: ........ 181 kg

The endurance on the ICAO flight plan should read:

2h 49 min

In the cruise at FL 155 at 260 kt TAS, the pilot plans for a 500 feet/min descent in order to fly overhead MAN VOR at 2000 feet (QNH 1030).

TAS will remain constant during descent, wind is negligible, temperature is standard.

The pilot must start the descent at a distance from MAN of:

120 NM

When calculating the fuel required to carry out a given flight, one must take into account:
1) the wind
2) foreseeable airborne delays
3) other weather forecasts
4) any foreseeable conditions which may delay landing

1,2,3,4

You are operating the MEP1 aeroplane. How much fuel should be allowed for Start, Taxi and Take Off ?

4,2 GAL

Ab wann ist es Heavy?

certificated T/O mass greater or equal to 136'000 kg

in the event that SELCAL i sprescribed by an authority, in which section of the ATS flight plan will teh SELCAL code be entered?

Other information

in item 15, a crusing altitude of 32'000 feet would be enteres as?

F320

in the ATC flight plan item 7, for a radio equipped aircraft, the identifier must always:

be the RTF callsign to be used

1. On a VFR flight plan, the total estimated time is:

2. IFR the total estimated time is?

1. t/o until over the destination airport 2. T/O until reaching the IAF of the destination aerodrome

a aircraft flys from London to Zürich (1000 UTC until 1215. In the ATS flight plan item 16 (time) should be entered

LSZH 0215 ==> EET

4125N00415E

standard equipment (item 10) ?

VHF RTF, ADF, VOR and ILS
