- place the cocktail right in front of the guest

- clear the bar top of empty glasses/bottles, used napkins and straws

- immediatly clean up any spills or, in case of dropped or knocked over cocktails, warn guests about the risk of broken glass before cleaning

- keep your station always clean ( bar, bar top, floor..)

- make sure all glassware is clean, on the right temperature and never touch the top half or rim of the glass

- if a cocktail is cleared by mistake, offer the guest a new one

- inform the guests about any out of stock items or changes in the menu

- alwys present yourself in a professional and polite manner

- maintain a respectful attitude towards guests and avoid becoming over-friendly

- let the guests know that you saw their arrival 

- always avoid discussing personal issues in the workplace

- never discuss sensitive topics with guests or colleagues (religiom, politics...)

- never discuss negative topics with guests or colleaugues

- ensure guests are always the focus of your attention

- pay attention to the atmosphere
