CW:
CW: Wiederstandskoeffizient: Verhältnis zwischen Wiederstandskraft und Staudruck
Chorld line
straight line connecting the leading and the trading edges
The chord
distance between the leading and the trailing edges
The camber line
imaginary line, lies midway between the upper und the lower surfaces and intersects the chord line at the leading and the trailing edges
max. camber
point of the maximum displacement of the camera line from the chord line
the thickness
distance between the upper and lower aerosol surfaces
nose radius
describes the curvature of the leading edge
centre of pressure
teh point at which the resultant force of the static pressure on the surface and the aerodynamic forces lift and drag act
relative airflow
airflow oppoesed to the direction of flight
lift
force that is perpendicular(senkrecht) to the relative airflow
drag
drag is a free that is parallel to the relative airflow
Agle of attack
angle between the chord lone and the relative airflow
Angle of incidence
Clim angle, between the chord line and the longitutudnal axis of the aeroplane
Pitch
angle between longitudinal axis and the horizontal axis
Pitch is 5 Grad, Angle of Incident 3 Grad, Wie gross ist dann der Angle of Attack?
8 Grad
AOA is 7 Grad ( Pitch 10 Grad, but relative airflow from 3 Grad up = Steigflug) The angle of Attack of the wing is
10 Grad
square
Flügel Oberseite => Strömungsrichtung nach
ALt => Less Density => More AOA => Induced Drag
Was bewirkt Weight auf den Induced Drag
Weight erfordert Lift ==> Grösserer AOA => Mehr Induced Drag
Was bewirkt Wingspann auf den Induced Drag
Elliptische Flügel => Spitfire
Kein Auftrieb = kein induzierter Widerstand
Wieso veringern WInglets den Induced Drag
Winglets sind sozusagen ausklappbare Flügel ==> grössere Fläche => Weniger Induced Drag
Form Drag whats that?
What is Interference Drag?
