Ditching? Ab wann ditching requirements?

Landung auf dem Wasser => 120 min or 400 NM whichever is the lesser ==> You must have ditching requirements

Alcohol?

no alcohol less than 8 hours before and not more than 0.2 primal at the start of the fight and no alcohol during the flight /Standby

Not perform duties before flying?

drug (media), sea diving, blood donation, suffering from fatigue

Wer darfs auf flight Deck?

a) crew member b) a representative of the Authority c) permitted by the OPS ==> Final decision in the responsibility of the commander

DOcuments to be carried on board => 6

1. Certificat of Registration

2. Certificate of Airworthiness

3. Noise Certificate

4. air Operater Certificate

5. Radio licence

6. Insurance Certificate (versicherung)

Information forms on Board ==> 3 ?

1. OM

2, AFM Aeroplane Flight Manual => performance data/ limitatiosn etc.

3. charts to cover the route

Adequate Aerodrome

The aerodrome will be available and equipped with necessary services => gewisse Kriterien müssen erfüllt sein

ETOPS ?

Extended range operations for two engine aeroplanes

3% ERA ?

the purpose of reducing contingency fuel to 3%

Isolated aerodorme ?

if the fuel required to the nearest adequate destination alternate aerodrome is more than:

a) reciprocating engines: fuel to fly 45 min plus 15% of the fligt time planned to be spent at cruising level or 2h ==> Whichever is less

b) turbine: fly two hours at normal cruise including final reserve fuel

Equivalent position

a position that can be established by means of a DME/VOR/NDB => a suitable fix between 3 and 5 miles from threshold that independently establishes the position of the aeroplane

Critical phases of flight

T/o run, the T/O flight path, final approach, landing, landing roll

separate runways ?

these rqy max overlay or cross in such a way that if one of the runway is blocked, it will not prevent the planned type of operation

Dispatch

ETOPS planning minima allies until dispatch. Dispatch is when the aircraft first moves under its own power for the purpose of T/O

Flight prepararation => was vorhanden sein

1. Technisch ok 2. Fuel 3. Ladung

Wenn man keine Ditchingausrüstung hat, was für Auflagen gibt es? (ETOPS)

max. 1 hour von einem Flugplatz entfernt

Wetter => IFR => Wenn Zielflughafen geschlossen ist, was machen?

Kurzstrecke: Warten bis Airport offen Langstrecke: Wenn eine Verbesserung angesagt ist, in die Luft

When you operate an aircradt at altitudes above 25'000ft, what do you need ?

a supply of undiluted oxygen for passengers might require oxygen

pressurised aeroplanes:

1. An operator shall not operate a pressuriesed aeroplane at presuure altitudes above 10'000 ft unless supplemental oxygen equipment

2. Following a cabin pressurisation failure, the cabin pressure altitude shall be considered the same as teh aeroplane pressure altitude

How much oxygen supply do you need:

Supply for: all persons on flight deck duty

Duration and cabin pressure altitude:

10'000 - 13'000 ft => after 30 minutes or 30 minutes for aeroplanes certificated to fly at altitudes not exceeding 25'000 ft 2hours more than 25'000 ft

Bird hazards

when do you see birds => Melden

bird strikes

Wenn du einen Schwarm getroffen hast

What do you need to fly by day under VFR

=> !! Accurate time pice => UHR!

1. magnetic compass

2. airspeed indicator

3. vertical speed indicator

4. Turn and slip Indicator

5. Altitude

6. stabilised direction indicator

7. outside temperature

8. don't exceed 60 minutes to the next airport

min. required recent experience for a pilot engaged (single pilot) under IFR or at night

5 IFR flights inlcuding3 instrument approaches, carried out during the preceding 90 days on the type class of aeroplane in the single pilot role

The operator must ensure that the mass and balance documentation of a flight is stored for a min. period of

3 months

When you need a windshield wiper

max. certificated T/O mass mor than 5.700 kg

lowest possible MDH for an NDB non-precision approach

350 ft

Which part prescribes requirements for approved maintenance organisations

Part 145

AOC ?

Air operator certificate

When does a pilot start to physically become affected due to the lack of oxygen, above what level

6000 ft

commander of an aircraft violated any local rule, regulation or procedure he is to report teh mazzer

to the local Authority without delay

Runway centerline markings shall provided on:

paved runways

Runway strip ?

a defined are including the runway and stowaway, if provided, intended: to reduce the risk of damage to aircraft running off a runway and to protect aircraft flying over it during T/O or landing

What color are apron markings (Apron safety lines)

A contrasting color from the taxiway markings

You need oxgen for each pilot only one when

when no crew is required (< 19 seats)

Wie viele PAX muss man zusätzlich mitnehmen? 2 Arten  ==> èber 25'000 ft

10 % more mask then seats 1.100 % PAX make (Oxy at least for 10 min) 2. 2% Pax (1 Aid oxy > 8000ft)
