Susac's Syndrome (DD MS, Vaskulitis)
Susac's syndrome is a very rare disease, of still unknown etiology, and many persons who experience it do not display the bizarre symptoms named here. Some sufferers often experience a personality change and develop bizarre and paranoid behavior.[citation needed] Their speech can be affected, and many experience unrelenting and intense headaches and migraines, some form of hearing loss, and impaired vision. The problem usually corrects itself, but this can take up to five years. In some cases, subjects can become confused, and believe they are re-living a time from their remembered past.
The syndrome usually affects women around the age of 30 years old, with female to male ratio of cases of 5:1.

Reversibles cereberales vasokonstrikitves Syndrom
sometimes called Call-Fleming syndrome or by a number of other names) is a poorly understood disease in which the arteries of the brain develop vasospasm without a clear cause (such as hemorrhage or trauma).[1] It may be present in varying amounts for months at a time.[1] Vasospasm narrows arteries and can trigger severe headaches that wax and wane. When the vasospasms subside the headaches are relieved. Although the pathology is not known definitively, it is thought SSRIs, uncontrolled hypertension, endocrine abnormality, and neurosurgical trauma are indicated to potentially cause vasospasm.[2]
Symptoms result from vasospasms that narrow arteries, especially those around the circle of Willis, which can lead to a dramatic headaches that are often of the thunderclap headache (sudden-onset) character. Ischemia is thought to cause various lesions

Was bedeutete, wenn man Antikörper NMO im Liquor findet
Grosses Rezidivrisiko für NMO
Ophtalmoplegische Migräne
Ophthalmoplegic migraine is a rare condition, previously thought to represent a variant of migraine. Recent observations regarding its usual clinical presentation and common magnetic resonance imaging findings have given rise to speculation that this illness is more likely to represent an inflammatory cranial neuropathy. The recent revision of the International Headache Classification has reclassified ophthalmoplegic migraine from a subtype of migraine to the category of neuralgia
An was lässt eine Anreicheung mit offenem Ring erinnern?
Aktive Demyeliniserung
Was macht ein CHrodom nie
Die Dura durchbrechen
Ab wann hat eine AVM ein deutlich erhöhtes Blutungsriskio
Mehr als 12 cm3
One long-term study (mean follow up greater than 20 years) of over 150 symptomatic AVMs (either presenting with bleeding or seizures) found the risk of cerebral hemorrhage to be approximately 4% per year, slightly higher than the 2-3% seen in other studies
Grading AVM
Spetzler-Martin - > Risiko eines chirurgischen Eingriffs - je höher grad desto höher Risiko
AVMs may be classified as grades 1 - 5.
AVM size Adjacent eloquent cortex Draining veins
Under 3 cm = 1 Non-eloquent = 0 Superficial only = 0
3–6 cm = 2 Eloquent* = 1 Deep veins = 1
Over 6 cm = 3
Eloqunet: Such as sensory or motor cortex, language or visual areas, brain stem, etc.

Wie werden intrakranielle durale Fisteln klassifiziert
Borden
The Borden Classification of dural arteriovenous malformations or fistulas, groups into three types based upon their venous drainage:[1]
Type I: dural arterial supply drains anterograde into venous sinus.
Type II: dural arterial supply drains into venous sinus. High pressure in sinus results in both anterograde drainage and retrograde drainage via subarachnoid veins.
Type III: dural arterial supply drains retrograde into subarachnoid veins.
Type II und III müssen behandelt werden -> Blutungsrisiko
