What is a Charm?

What do you call en object with a lasting charm on it?

A charm is a spell that adds certain properties to an object or creature.

An object that has a lasting Charm placed on it is called bewitched.

 

How to successfully cast a charm...

Successfull casting of a charm is achieved through concentration, precise wand movements, and the proper pronunciation of an incantation.

Wenn a charm is casted poorly it will fail and the caste runs the risk of it backfiring.

What is an incantation?

An incantation is the word or words spoken to invoke a spell. Spells can be cast non-verbally but the incantation still needs to be said in the head of the spellcaster. Most known incantations derive from the Latin language. Only few are English.

Wands are only as powerful as the wizards who use them...most wands are lond, thin rods of wood with a magical substance embedded into their core. What cores have been documented?
