all people(all races) were allowed to vote was between 26-29 April
86% of the population went to the polling stations
also the election marked the four-year process that ended arpartheid

achieved:
- correcting false images(culture, education, religion),stop the classification in dif. groups, make the blacks clear that the whites want to subjugate them
