Describe cell types in the Lagerhans Islets. What hormone do they produce?
Alpha-cells: Glucagon
Beta-cells: Insulin, Amylin
Delta-cells: Somatostatin
Where is glucagon secreted? What is its effect on blood sugar level?
Alpha cells in the pancreas. Secrete into the liver.
