What is defining relative clauses ?
- who, that, which, where, whose, whom
- essential/importent information
- information for the sentence
Make an example for "who/that" (defining) ?
- Leo i the guy who is wearing a blue shirt.
- The guy who has a grey hat is Tim.
Make an example for "which/that" (defining)
= things and {sometimes places}
- Breakfast is the meal that/which you eat in the morning.
- Las Vegas i the city that/which I visited.
- Las Vegas i the city that/which never sleeps.
Make an example for "whose" (difining) ?
- There's the guy whose sister is in my class.
(There's the guy. His sister is in my class.)
Make an expample for "whom/that" (difining)?
=same as "who" but only for objects.
= very formal (Business).
- That's the guy whom I talked to yesterday.

=places
=different subjects in main sentence and clause
= "in" or thing happens there.
- LA is the place where people try to steal your money.
- Las Vegas is a city where you can do a lot of partying.

- who, where, whose, whom
- extra information (not important for sentence).
