4. Select landing area (into the wind)

(5. Adjust collective for green RPM)

6. Consider engin restart

7. At 60 ft flare

8. Level helicopter

9. Pedals to minimize ground drift

10. When down lower collectiv

Note: Average manoeuvre requires 200-300

1. Left pedal

2. Raise collective to land

3. Lower collectiv

1. Left pedal

2. level the helicopter

3. < 30 kt don‘t lower collective

4. > 30 kt pitch up, lower collective

5. Raise collective to land

6. Pedals to minimize ground drift

7. Lower collectiv

1. Check how many bricks
2. Switch carb heat to hot (if necessary)
3. Check bricks appear and temp go green
-> yes -> continue flight
-> no ->  avoid prolonged flight at low power
-> carb icing -> land asap / caution landing

- in hover -> land or depart in translation
- in translation -> reduce power
-> stays in red arc -> land asap -> keep NR for cooling

- allow to warm up
- wait to apply full power

- in hover -> land or depart in translation
