Output : the quantity of goods and services produced in any time period in a economy.

GDP (gross domestic product) : the total money value of output produced annually by the factors of production (land, labor, capital, and entrepreneurship) whitin a countryÕs boundaries, whoever owns them.

Standard of living : a relative concept, which refers both to the monetary and non monetary (or social) indicators which characterize a personÕs lifestyle : traditionally measured by a countryÕs gross national product and per capita income.

National income : the net value of all goods and services produced annually in a nation (GNP) less capital consumption (i.e. depreciation) : net national product.

Growth : an increase in a country output of goods and services over time.

Gross national product (gross national product) : the total money value of output produced annually by factors of production owned by the residents of a country (i.e. including payments from abroad of rent, wages, interest, dividends and profit).

Per capita GDP : gross domestic product of a country divided by its population : output per head.

Currencies : the banknotes and the coins in circulation in a countryÕs economy used as a medium of exchange.
